Hello all, I'm new to this site, and I am new to writing poetry... I'm still not completely familiar with all the "rules" but I do the best I could. I'm just not fully aware of all the guidelines with meters and rhymes all that..But I'll post them anyway. This is all about the girl of my dreams. All the words came from my heart and feelings. I call this one "My True Love" If you needed to be saved, I’d be your hero If you wanted to be loved, I’d be the one to love you If you ever were to fall, I’d be right there to pick you up If you wanted to be adored, I’d be the one to adore you If you needed a friend, I’d always be there for you If you needed a man in your life, I’d be the perfect man for you If you wanted to love me, I’d embrace your love with open arms If anyone tried to hurt you, I’d save you from their harm If you ever wanted to cry, I’d be there to cry with you If you ever wanted to run away, I’d be right there running with you If you ever needed a shoulder to lean on, I’d always be there for you If you ever wanted to talk, I’d be right there to listen When I’m feeling sad, Your smile makes me happy When I’m feeling mad Your presence makes me cheery Since you’re not around, Life is very dreary I need you in my life, Without you it’s hard living. |
