There are things beyond our ken
And we yearn for what has been

         Please, hear this beseech

Healthy hearts and bodies strong
These to our friends should belong

Giver of life, I humbly beg

Touch them now with healing grace
Let them walk in joy’s embrace

I lift them now in prayer

Give them peace, replace their fears
Let pain cease, erase their tears

I’m on my knees to Thee

Give strength to spirit, comfort soul
Make beloved bodies whole

         With every breath, I plea

Suthern, this prayerful plea to Our Father, is just what our beloved Flower Girl needs right now. In fact, I know many who are in need of such words and I am saving this graceful, prayerful poem for them as well.

As I read this beautiful poem, I thinking, how much you give even though life has done you such wrong in recent months. You're a marvel, dear lady, a marvel.

Pray...yes, I think we all are...I know I am.

I feel such warmth, comfort and kindness from this poem - and I am not in need at the moment, so I can't imagine how very much it must mean to those for whom it is written!  You are a kind, loving person and you deserve such warmth, comfort and kindness from all you come across.

May I kneel beside you?  Or in the length and breadth of space behind you?  Just so that someone knows where our knees are...and how our heads are bowed just so.

Suthern, my Ruth...

thank you.

I also missed this, and what a shame - this is certainly a prayer that could be recited every single day, for so many.  So - thank you I start now by sending this one out to those needing the healing.  There are just far too many aren't there?  Beautiful prayer Ruth.

I lift them now in prayer

We all have prayed for something and praying does nothing for the cause but gives us hope

hopefully you will find it in your nature to reply to one of my pieces
