Queen of Infidels So say some Islamic militants about Silvia Shahakian the newly crowned Miss Iraq. Apparently they have different ideas about beauty then many of us. She also is a Christian, which is considered a less than honorable endeaver within the mind of an Islamic militant. "Silvia Shahakian, an Iraqi Christian who was the third runner-up in the Miss Iraq contest, won the title because the original winner resigned after receiving threats, and the first and second runners-up refused to accept the crown, citing security fears."...The Honolulu Advertiser/pageA11/April 16, 2006. I know the Economist is not everyone's reading but reading an article about Islam in Europe, it seemed to say that the Koran (with my respect as I would for the bible) appears to ask for tolerance of those of other faiths We should always tolerate other religions as they should tolerate our religions or the lack of them, providing we do not harm anyone for their or our beliefs, creed, colour, sex, disability or religion and the comment is on the phrase "Politician" since we have to tolerate them as well.
