Today again the “not yet” and the “don’t know when” runs full-tilt like athletes do around the track of mind but I’d say they’re somewhat lost, confused and bemused, between the last goodbye and a new starting point yet I watch them all the same with the intensity of soul now individualized through a parting of the ways. There’s a uselessness inside because I can’t wave a flag and direct the speed and flow of this determined run or call a halt to hope gliding happy in the slipstream in tandem with a need so long been in me. So run, run, run around, this “not yet/don’t know when” and I’ll be your spectator on the sidelines looking in but don’t expect a cheer for the many years of tears because silent is the voice of abandonment. “Not yet/don’t know when” perhaps a gentle lie falling too softly to make itself be heard but I listen, listen, every day to what the angels say and the silence of their words fills the void of isolation wherein sleeps the child born of love’s desire. Sleep, sleep, little one, count each night a sigh and when they’re numbered to the sky, you can choose to die! Helen / 16 April 2006 (It must just be the April air - heavy, heavy, heavy) |

I agree, must be the April wind... nothing like circles, I hate when that happens. |

Thanks guys and gal! No harm done by blaming it on the air - it's not as if it has ears but I think May will be good so here's hoping. |
