I stood solemnly, quietly, the cold rock strewn ground surrounding me on all sides. This place, hallowed to those who remained, whose breath still frosted the evening air. A place of final repose for memories and aches that still stir the tears of eyes that have seen much of this, now awaiting his turn to be hallowed, eulogized and covered with the earth that carried his feet hesitantly forward His voice, a mere whisper. Calling to the pillar that fell and now silently awaits the unification of two minds, occupying souls that knew the other, even in the late hours. And I stood solemnly, quietly, the cold rock surrounding me....as I heard his words and knew his love would never wane nor die. |

Speaks this poem on so many levels that it should hallow halls for times that were and are and yet to be. A remarkable write, Magnus. A more memorable write, Barry. Be without pride, and submit this where it will stand proud. |

Hallowed halls of thought and spirit do not wane or die. The substance of love is more than time or space. We sometimes miss the arms, but love is the sustaining sacred. Solemn and very poignant thoughts, but very gripping. ~ Karen ~ |
