It's Best To Never Know What's Lost ~or~ Saved From The Danger In A Child’s Eyes Last night I wrote upon the stair a special poem I tried to share about bigotry and social lies witnessed through a child’s eyes. Sadly it can't be allowed the filters say, so I just took it all away. I've always known censorship, like bigotry, is based on fear and now I know my childhood's not welcome here. Happily I’ve outgrown the need to fight, and so, with pity and a patient smile I’ll just post it on an open site. ©2006 by icebox |

"I’ve outgrown the need to fight" It's strange how that happens. Still, it's a very telling poem. Well done. |

My curiosity won't let me say, "It's Best to Never Know What's Lost". It always asks, what is lost? |

I remember when I was a kid and used to see shows on TV about some criminal and how they were doing their crime, my Dad would get upset and say they were giving the criminals ideas. I don't say to much at work about being agnostic or Democrat...'cause it just isn't worth the endless response of the fanatics (this is not a general statement but rather in regards to the few) I work with... sometimes it's just better to have the right audience I suppose. so you should send it to me! "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
