Flip, flop, slip and slide; the earth is going round and not everyone’s a conscious bride dizzy with delight yet in between the fall/get-up of the world’s inhabitants there sometimes can appear a small pinprick of light. And light has many uses; some highlight everything, some brighten up a corner, and some lead a searching mind into new and original perceptions and beliefs unproved and unfounded in the spin of daily life. But take me to the stage of illuminated grace and place into my hands the binoculars of life so I may, at my behest, choose a close and personal view of the flip, flop, slip and slide, of that dizzy bride. She doesn’t flip but somersaults like an acrobat, doesn’t flop but settles, her slip a dancer’s glide, and her slide a true and honest simple slithering into the spotlight of authentic compromise. Would that I could be a conscious bride just for me and flip, flop, slip and slide, without a mark inside yet perchance I am dizzy for knowing love is real after the fall/get-up of an enlightened mind! Thanks Magnus, Dixie, icebox and Maureen for reading and for commenting. My brain seems a bit strange even to me these days - must be because it's April! |
