What I Needed Most |

Underneath the confident smile, the brave walk, talk, and style, I am a frightened little girl- no one knows I'm not so strong, I've been here by myself so long, lonely in a crowded world. I was fool enough to actually believe that what I gave I would receive, I was always there for you- but I am no longer young, naive, I wear independence, you perceive that my heart is not askew. I've grown old with half of you and died with only a piece or two, a scared and lonely ghost- I'll strut happy and smile my rhyme and forget well that you had no time when it was what I needed most. ~ |

You are too much my friend. How you can pump out these beautiful verses and still feel so alone and fragile I do not know. So many here care for you and have proven that. Accept the love that surrounds you my friend. Time now for a few of your happy fun writes. YOU ARE LOVED |

"lonely in a crowded world" This seemed far too familiar. What a heartfelt piece this was. And as some special poems tend to do with me, it reminded me of a song, if you don't know it you'd might like to check it out. Faith, by The Cure. One of my all time favourite songs. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/cure/faith.html Love "How happy is the blameless vestal's lot! The world forgetting, by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!" |

Excellent. This is all true, and yet I have always seen dignity in your writing. (you should tell your little self that you will keep her safe now.) *hug* |

This is indeed one of your best... And how could it not be beautiful, considering the heart it shows? *S* |

Fabulous writing..."I was fool enough to actually believe that what I gave I would receive." I have also been so foolish, and yet, at the time I could not stop myself...perhaps when we give it to the wrong person it fails to bring fruit...James |
