Hawthorn flowers fully open, buds of new green on trees. Calmer the winds do soften, gone the days of winter freeze. Willows lime-yellow dusting, wildfowl bobbing on meres rippling, partridges surprising flight bursting, gulls lightly through air tippling. Goldfinches, their colour burning into my memory, pigeons walking fields of verdant green. Amber days of iluminated imagery, precious sights that must be seen. http://wordsthoughtsfeelings.blogspot.com [This message has been edited by Goldenrose (04-14-2006 04:42 PM).] |

Your poems are just paintings indeed, you have an extremely vivid way of writing, well done! And by the way, hawthorne is one of my absolute favourite words in the English language (though I think you may have switched the t and the h) Love "How happy is the blameless vestal's lot! The world forgetting, by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!" |
