Rain kicked up

A comfort

You felt at night

Leaf or leaves tucked an onward journ ward

Still something of no respite

For there wasn't anything you sort

On a journey

On a rainy night

And still wonder

Now you know

and still remember

Life on a road

Where you can be frightened

And then you listen to

Simon and Garfunkel Old Friends and realise you weren't the first to be a lousy hitch hiker and dont anyone think, this is what you do now - those were different times
