Where Roses Forever Bloom

They say there is a place,
where roses forever bloom.
Where the threads of two hearts,
are woven together,
in a golden loom.

Where two becomes,
a single one.
Where night,
is but a resting place,
for a weary sun.

A place where all longing,
doth forever cease.
A place of fullfillment,
a place of perfect peace.

They say there,
awaits joy imeasureable,...
for blessed souls to finally find.
A place of the joining,
of body, soul, and mind.

This most sublime place,
where roses forever bloom.
Is but a poets fantasy,
a dream place,
I presume.

For in the giving of my all,
my all,...
was all,...
that was ever given.

I think this place,
must be the place,
that we all call heaven.

Now you're a man who thinks like I do!

A petal-soft rendering from your gracious and loving heart. Flowers

As you love, so may you be loved, my friend.

Steven as I read this I thought
'he has to be speaking of Heaven'
Such a peaceful serene penning this is.

Indeed when two become one
this is exactly the feeling...the way it should be.

Beautifully written, and understood.

Steven great job! I think there is a little place like that in all of us if only we look hard enough.

Hah, caught this one just as it was about to slip of the page   Plato believed that man once were one, woman and man joined together, and since we were seperated we have been forever searching for our other half, which is what we have choosed to call our soulmate, and there can be only one of them, and if we find it, we will be as one once again. True or not, I think it's a nice thought. Now that was the philosophy lesson of today, class dismissed   And as usually I've included my favorite part of the poem above, enjoyed much, and it made me think.

Love

The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!"

Spot on, this poem,
this day, after this work,
and no play...

you've left me
with
fragrance.

Thank you, Steve.

"Where the charming roses bloom forever
and where separation comes no more
If we never meet again this side of heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore"

Steve you took me a long way back with this one. It's lovely. Thank you.

Hugs,

Kate

Plato could be right Androgynous. I believe we have lost our understanding of what love is, where and to who it will lead. I think most get weary of waiting for or lose faith that they will find that person (soulmate)and give our all to someone who doesn't have a clue as to who or what we are or need. We settle for less thinking it will suffice but it never does. There may be this type of perfection on earth. I like to think so too but alas, I haven't found it!

Sunshine, I know roses that would have never bloomed without the warmth of your encouraging rays. Those roses will fill the dawn with a fragrance just for you. :-)

Lady, back, ahead, up, down, you name it, I love to travel in good company! :-)
