FLIGHT LIGHT(Re-worked) 1 September 2001 / 6 April 2006
Searching sky-eyed for your wings in soft colours
waiting like a lake for you to call my name in leaf shapes
listening for your almost-breath in breeze-songs of low ocean murmurs
and I call on thunder thoughts to roll in rain-promised air and I am here in the midst of them ablaze and ready with sun-splashed lips to wrap you acquiescent in trembling birdsong.

I enjoyed your flight of light in nature's surround sounds!
Very lovely!

Thank you, curiouse, Martie, Earth Angel, JL and passing shadows.
This poem was written in response to the poem of a boyfriend of that time. I felt that mine was very mediocre in comparison to his, but managed to improve it a little bit recently.
