e.g. Massouie While a convicted terrorist Has access to all the facts Families and Victims wait Just one of the unfair acts. The Government has the power To withhold those records from us Except those who kill our Citizens Who have more Rights, now that's unjust. We, the People need the Right too For some, to ease the pain To find answers to those questions That are asked, time and again. In our Country, seems the Victims Are the very last to know And the last to receive Justice That’s the way it seems to go. The criminals can get free lawyers A roof and three squares a day But when Victims ask for something They are usually told, “No way!” “Innocent till proven guilty” Is the way it ought to be But the guilty ones appeals? More pain for each Family. What they say about the “wheels” That we all know, turn slow There should be a time limit On those appeals, don’t you know. Some outlive their Death sentence And/or Justice is never done While loved ones of the Victim Will suffer each day, every one. There must be a better way Some small changes in the Law So, when it comes to Justice It will apply to one and all. There’s no parole for the Victims No way to appeal their sorrow But always seems the criminal Can look forward to tomorrow. 04-06-06 Del "Abe" Jones |

"There’s no parole for the Victims No way to appeal their sorrow But always seems the criminal Can look forward to tomorrow." And the victim pays in more ways than one. Good one Abe! JL |
