nature releases her energies inside heaven collates an apt density of quatrains richly textured lines bringing memory to music poignant, humanized moments moods held in your arms startling awake a playful self-indulgence charmed could this be levitation with a recognizable voice? unfolding some subtlety power entirely first sighted by a hidden opulent choice? rendering comfortable impulses vibrating with quiet and passionate intensity? I welcome that remarkable debut turning a promotion of coziness into some mutual enhancement despite December’s amazing revenge that walked by scratching a warm familiar wake up call of nursery rhymes which now turns me toward some wildness of attentive light… more passionate more intense more plausible with each daylight vibrating it’s graceful fleeting look going off disappearing in some long forgotten vacancy… sound and suggestive structured meter energy transferred to lighted definitions that are never spoken yet experienced it is religion & science jointly dancing a faith of poetry driven growth interest & employment affirming passion into demure vital elements exactly what the human beast longs for… good fortune quivers a civil truth thinking out loud grabbing hold of hot flashes decay and death elicit life, vital in her movements floral my God… so startling, so naked and exciting all of nature articulates enthusiastically as if speaking for the first time even though her concept may not be mine decisive secret valentines all curled up at our feet the bang on the door, has turned genius! painting a mundane life’s chronicle into moon stories breathing me breathing you beating beating beating innocent essays fourfold visions imagination seeks me seeks you reading experience honed in on the defects of me quite unintentionally I am a biological life form about to breakdown and rise again breakdown and rise an interruption passage of great power is the most surprising aspect of failure which really fails not at all oh this revolution of consciousness placing widespread beliefs into some local home grown spam with survival gear… healing truths capable of hard shelled ego such saving grace & vision oh homer, you thread your way measure for measure illuminating all the fine that music detonates *********** I'm in one of those high moods this morning, yanno? |

I love to see nature release her energies LeeJ but when I read your poetry it's plain to see she has a rival. :-) |

"oh this revolution of consciousness placing widespread beliefs into some local home grown spam with survival gear…" It is hard to quote from your writings but I did enjoy the above and whatever mood you happen to be in always results in a tremendous read for us. Thank you, LeeJ! |

LeeJ "it is religion & science jointly dancing a faith of poetry driven growth" Whitman is smiling, wherever he is, and so am I after reading this poem.... Love it when you really hit your stride, this subject is a good one for you. ----------ice/ford ><> [This message has been edited by ice (04-06-2006 06:30 AM).] |
