Can you see, or aren't you looking?
I'd stand up and shout, but I'm shy,
Too shy and perhaps too proud
To attract attention from a passerby.
I could use a glance my direction
Just so someone knows I'm alive,
Although this isn't much of a living
On the street it's just that I survive.

A great read. A little sad but still good. You speak the truth. I have often said that if people would pay just a little more attention to what is going on around them the world would be a much much better place. Can't wait to read more from you.

Just to be recognized as being a human...sometimes being unique,,,(like everyone else)...is just like being another leaf on a tree....ya see the forest but not the tree.....sometimes I want to be sure that I'm really here...not just a figment of MY imagination....

Some of my best memories are from my street days! Someday you might have to change the "g" to a "b" in your name. Enjoyed! :-)

well...it is easy to notice your surroundings and those in them..it's the wanting to help that is often hard to know what to do...
