Softly and Soulfully

Image hosting by Photobucket

I still weep softly and soulfully.
Perhaps I always will, who knows?
There are certain times I let go
and give in to the undertows.

For the once of yesterday
you were a hero and a friend,
a special something I needed then,
I'm glad God saw to send.

But God gives and He takes away,
for I leaned on you too long,
diligently fighting simple reality,
it's past its prime, now move on.

I suppose greed is sin
and when I got my overfill
that is when this love of ours
began to slide downhill...

I weep softly and soulfully, still
and perhaps,
I always will.

Much enjoyed the emotional ride my friend, gives and takes away, that is the shame. At times we don't know what has been given till it is much too late, chances are seldom and choices are ours to make. It is unfortunate that sometimes we make the wrong choices about what would be right. Deep thoughts and cleansing words, thank you for sharing.

Sincerely
Rick

Very, very sad...
But a lovely work of words.

Recognizing it and acting on it go a long way to turning it all around~

You're a sweetie ... ya' know ?
