Close My Eyes

When I close my eyes
I see you there
and when I close my eyes
your face takes away despair.

I still see that smile
and still feel that hug
I will wait all the while
intoxicated by love’s sweet drug.

The lonely wait to hear your voice
is ok when I close my eyes,
and in that moment I rejoice
that memories have no goodbyes.

I shall close my eyes forevermore
to see your sweet face
and I will remember how once before
I felt your phenomenal embrace.

Hope can die in an instant
but forever dreams carry on.

Wow how romantic, You definately touched me cos im a hopeless romantic at heart, It was funny a song came on the tv, "its nice to close your eyes and feel love" lovely poem
