Fair maid, thy blush gives thee away.
Would thy color fade as rubies taste
the grapes of a tender vine?

Would the sigh of loneliness be heard
beyond the spires of desire?

Would the tremor of thy sweetness
bring forth the quake of a mountain
on a spring day?

Would you, would I....as dreams
carry the heat of passion into a
swelter beyond the steaming pool
upon thee?

Only I know....for thee art most
precious, most beautiful and
thy wish is my commitment,
my covenant to thee.

Ohhhh! I'm swooning here... ..thinking when the grapes have turned to raisins, you'll still see only the blush in her cheeks.  This is sabotage in the first degree!  Lovely, lovely write!

~ 'Tis with bated breath I ask if ye be the mountain, sire?

If it be thee, then quake away this fine spring day and mine sweetness shall tremor uncontrolably...

It would! It would! Oh... my heart beats
to the rhythm of this fair work. It's magnificent.

Barry, this was beautiful music.

Good to read you again

Hey, my girlfriend lives in Beauford, SC...any chance you might live close to her?
She's getting married in Nov.  She's the one in my picture with her arm around my shoulder.

Hugs to ya...

yanno Maggie?...I said these exact words to my "maid"..and the silly gal slapped me...some people!!!.....anyhow...it ended costing me for her "cleaning" service and then another $100 bucks for her "other" services.....all in all...it ended up being a good afternoon..and yes, I'd say she was a "fair" maid and her "fees" were nominal..
