I cast no stones upon the water No ripples will I make For if I were to do so I would disrupt the lake My reflection convoluted Would not resemble me And all that looked upon it A monster, they would see But I am not a monster I am a quiet man Whose dreams have gone awry In this unforgiving land When life no longer holds Any happiness for me I come to visit by the lake And find serenity So if you see me sitting With my thoughts and all alone I beg you, please be quiet And do not cast a stone. |

No stones cast here, I'd just sit beside you and listen to the quiet, and smile when the sun breaks over the water. Klassy |
