How 'bout them rhyme makers,
Ain't they fine?
Puttin' down words,
Makin' them rhyme.

Them dadburn poet types,
Showin' they skill,
Some use a keyboard,
Others use a quill.

Talkin' bout love,
Talkin' bout sorrow,
Writin' it now,
Readin' it tomorrow.

Them ever-lovin' poet writers,
Ain't they neat?
Writin' them words,
With rhythm and beat.

Wanna write a ditty?
If ya get the notion
Put-it inta words,
Put your mind ta motion.

Think about a subject
If ya find some muse,
Like I tried with this one
Did it just fer youse.

afore they turn to vapor.

An now ahm mor'n sure

Ah see, in PIP's histery,

yore takin' aim with insult
at the famous Balladeer!

Who'll make it to the top?
Them pome's great'tween you two,
An ah hope they nevah stop!

Nice to meet you, Toerag!
Thank you for the smiles!

Hey, lassy...that was a good reply! We are not used to seeing anything poetic on Toerag's poem....and that includes Toerag's poem!

BRAVO!

Thanks for reminding us that poetry can also be great fun.

...why I'm so old that I forget that truth sometimes...but I remember once, it were back in '62...uh...OH DAMN! What was I talkin' about?  Hey? Has anybody seen my underwear?
