The glow, amber
  warm the feel
upon a face

long since forgotten
by the sun.

Flashes of thought,
behind closed eyes
concealed in
soft flickers

aged bars
of faded wicker

gentle this sway;

slight rocking
to and fro
         serenity found
on this warm April day.

  ~The quiet suites me well~

A choir of birds

lullabye

orchestrated beauty
    captured wonderously
  soft touch of soul

for one moment

   a smile

left lingering

          within the grace.

seek the flame within yourself
and let your soul be cleansed by
