*"There's a patch of old snow in a corner" Of the house-side facing north, Behind what's left of the wood-rick, The stack much lower, than in October.
Five feet away, the sun draws A line, a demarcation stripe Defined by the rooflines angle; Cold on the dark side, warm on the bright, One side it's March, the other April.
So the old snow patch is saved, Although outside the line its spring- Beneath the eaves, behind the chunks It lingers-safe, in a shadow of gray; Surviving, like a frozen block In a sort of ice-house cave.
(*The first line is from the Robert Frost poem "A Patch Of Old Snow" used to answer the challenge outline)

Knowing that your poetry can stand alone and without any help from Frost...
just know that his bit of inspire made yours shine all the more.

Good Morning Ford. What a beautiful read this morning. :-)

Greetings Ice When my son lived in Ala. he missed the snow. So when we had a snow fall I gathered up a bag of snow and put it in the freezer. So when he came home he had beautiful snow. Just wanted to share my thought.] Hugs BonBon
