When writer’s write drifts away
Reason rests by shadowed stone
without address to grasp or land it.
For thought so expansive
Emotion inks the sky
Trailing away forever wafting.

               ~   ~   ~

       Smoke rings the Hobbits blow
To ease minds, let things go
       Though trials await in mountain.
       Like the Dwarfs, Hi Hoe
       Homeward go,
       To live happily ever wafter…
       Wafters away, anchors a’hey
Negative thoughts shan’t ride this vessel
        Memory assigned the sky
        Riding on a rafter.
        For thoughts so evasive
        Emotion seeks the sky
        Trailing away forever wafting.

My writes have been drifting away for much too long, and I can't find them, no stone unturned them and my emotion has no place to fly.  Loved your words...and I know you didn't mean my meaning...but I grabed on to them anyway.  Thank  you.

Martie,

You've interpreted it precisely.  I'm humbled that my words for no words have meaning for you!  I just can't or don't want to hold any more emotions.  So, "Up, up, and away with them for a day, two, or forever wafter!"  I hope you will come to feel what needs to exit from your pen.  I haven't been online much at all lately, but when I have, I haven't seen you posting any poetry.  Be well, Martie.

hugs,

Jo,
Playing with sounds and words is one game that I do like.  Words have incredible power to lift or to depress.  I clarify and define what is in my head through the art forms, otherwise, I wouldn't know. Life comes at me at such a speed that there is too much to filter.  I tend to jumble it all up, fiddling around with something else until things build up.  Finally, I have discovered how I need the arts for definition and optimistic planning.  They are priceless!

The Lady,

"My write has drifted away too. I really needed this one"

When it drifts, perhaps we need to stretch more, toward writing "nothings" if not somethings.  When I wrote this, there was nothing to write, but a feeling of nothingness.  Yet, the words and sounds wanted to play, wanted to change what it was that I couldn't define...

My advice is that when writer's write is gone, do it anyway and accept whatever the words will grin.  It doesn't matter if they make sense or not.  If they don't, that is all the better.  That creates the challenge of having it make sense, and challenges are good.   Oblivion becomes less cloudy.

Good luck to you.  I look forward in seeing your
writing soon.

hugs,
misc'e
