To shoulder these burdens
that lay heavy upon your heart

I would, if I could

lighten your load
and remove the clouds
that shroud the sun from shining
upon your days

that you again felt the glow
of golden rays,
warming your spirit
deep inside

and that smile....

oh that smile,

would return
to your beautiful face
while chasing away
the dark, empty space
that has come to visit
and linger to long

I would, if I could

play you a celestial song
so that you could heal

and realize,
that you are strong

and that you are loved,
by all in overflow...

my sister of heart, my friend...
