If I was free and not conscious of me I’d be hopping around like a frog in a fit over the many burst bubbles of love on the sidewalk of my intuitive feel. It’s the concrete, you see, taller, taller, than trees that neither erects nor shows how to effect a gentle run-off for emotional strife born and bred into this work-a-day world by unrequited love. Burst bubbles of love never repair because needle and thread of many new things no effective and efficient tool for the sewing of nonchalance into the seams of despondency. Calls to the wild, the beautiful sky, and to the creator of dreams fall silent within where fear manifests because I’m not yet entitled to know who drops the bubbles on my sidewalk with such disregard for my soul! JL - That line actually comes from a dream and in that dream it was a "woman in a fit" but as dreams aren't supposed to be real, you may certainly borrow it. Thanks so much for the read. |
