I've lost them. All to my own captivity. Fear. Hides beneath this false tranquility. Now. It's my reality. I no longer know, my own joy. I no longer know, my own hopes. I no longer know, my own desires. I've lost them. All to my own shame. Lost. Hides beneath this mask I wear. Now. it's my share. My share to revel in. To bind myself and then. Possibly, let myself free. Or sit tormented in my own captivity. I know longer know, my fate, or even who I am. Lost. Where can I find me again? |

"Or sit tormented in my own captivity." NO! Don't go there. It isn't worth it. Enjoyed the write, but stay off that stage. JL |

"Where can I find me again?" I guess we all find ourselves in different places but sometimes the finding can seem to take forever. Perhaps in the silence of introspection you will come across a queen and say, "Hey, is that me?" |

I know these feelings so well Kellie...more than I can say. One day we do find ourselves though, it just takes some time and elbow grease. |

I remember finding a piece of myself once when I should have let it stay lost. Does that make any sense? Sigh, sometimes we like what we find, sometimes not, but we can only move forwards anyway, not backwards...I think. Nice introspective write Kellie. |
