Just Another Thursday

Between the Lines

Disappointment always,
is the feedback that I feel.
No matter how the trying's hard,
today in world of real.

A touch of ill, and maybe age
leaves tired days to live.
No matter, it's the "Dissing" of
that makes it hard to give.

Attitude and words that thrive
minding this warm day
of better times "it is what is"
self-talking words I say.

When pick me up instead of downs
could activate and please...
Instead it's there, the usual,
to slip into with ease.

Maybe it is better to
remain in solitude
and bypass all the spend of thoughts
that disappoint my mood.

And though the choice is mine to make,
one that belies the need,
today I feel the worn of down,
unnecessary feed.

Ah, but the gloom will end soon.  Tomorrow, spend the day in the sun.
The age thing… well, I can’t be much help there.
But you are way too young to be flirting with feelings of old age.  So do
Something fun!  Run around the house in your underwear!
I do that all the time!

Just kidding!
