Line of Living

29 March 2006

Would that day arrive
this moment of love to bloom
A lonely heart wanting more
to see her walk into the room

Through capillaries
in vanity to never escape
A heart each to burn in flame alight
if not broken to crumble nor break

Together in planting a garden
with flowers to grow to love
Of this future of a moment to come
A mourning - a day - one life to live
a heart to urn - in ways to give as one

To be there when needed
such to be wanted and care
Over this life line with every
drop of blood to bare

“And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following
after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest,
I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:”
Ruth 1: 16 KJV

Always an enjoyable read
and treat
to listen to a different way
in poetry.

The woman in Missouri I wrote this for, said it was truly her and her name was indeed Ruth.
