In the frequency of the ringing
and the tenacity of time continuance
in the plaintive
click
when instead of you, I pick up the receiver
I can sense a danger there

In the anger that quickly swelters
against the face of my opposition
and the low growl of your
justify
I can clearly hear a danger there

In the need to carefully cover
tracks so that neither of us will realize
that while still wearing the scars
from the previous passing
we are started down the same path
of twice before
the mouth of this yawns wide
open and waiting
and I do greatly fear
the danger there

I am sorry that I shouted out
with such intensity
it must have seemed more
an infraction than an act of love
please accept my apology
I wish it were within me
to quietly say
please come away from
there
I can sense a danger

Once trust is lost... it's so very hard to find it... and its lack comes back to bite us time and again.

Excellent, painful write!!!

And those rope bridges are difficult enough when every slat is in place. *S*

Hang tough, my friend... and hold tight. *S*

Slats need to be replaced once in the while..

  Well done.

hold tight?
*very hopeful look*
you mean there are other choices?
I mean...
I haven't looked down...you know...that gravity thing...but can you see my back from there...have I sprouted wings?

Those aren't choices... they're necessities! LOL For nope... no wings... just a figure that would make me hate you if I didn't love you. LOL But... no wings... which means that gravity thing isn't a friend to falling luminous ones. *G*
