Tree Of Life Lush and abundant, I spring green ... I am the Tree of Life, budding with new possibilities, new potentialities ... In time, I will be compelled to wear my autumn coat proudly, in variegated hues of earthy and brilliant foliage, reflecting the colors of my life. Still, I cannot change what will be ... Bare and naked I will stand, against the winds of change. Long after the warm rains change into ice crystals and cloak me in winter white, I will remain ... unchanged. Teresa L. Schulz 10/17/2003 |

This is a very noble piece. Keep up the resiliant nature! But do not think you will not be changed because with each new day comes new experiences, and sometimes it is hard to notice the small changes they can make. Nice write. Kristabell |

Thanks Krista and James ... The analogy I was making and in referance to unchanged, was this ... the Christ or Buddha nature inherent in me (in all of us), as well as, the true essence of 'the tree' always remains unchanged, even though it's apparent form may change ... the tree itself (and I too) may even wither and die, and be replaced by a sappling, a decendant, still ... it's essence remains ... unchanged. tera |
