Spreading of Time I have no regrets for the spreading of time For words heard last fill the emptiness, mine. Reaching out, reaching to, untangles the taut And the unfinished of, in the mystery sought. Though Winter in Spring, there are memories stored When warmth of the traveling of two brings accord. And the harmony of, acceptance in kind Fills my everyday thoughts with you-me in mind. There's a gardener in me, who can wait for the bloom Who can plant all the seeds, who straightens and grooms. For the beauty then seen, in it's nakedness viewed Becomes moment to moment of life, a prelude. Today's just a day, where the leaves are swept up, Collections in thought as I drink from the cup Of tomorrow's todays and the more coming due. I have no regrets in the waiting it through. *Sunday Thoughts M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Maureen It takes a patient person to be able to wait...I have trouble with it myself. The planting of the seed is quick, the wait for bloom so long! Yes, it's worth it...most things that take alot of time, are. |

You know I think I like this the best of anything you have written. Funny I see the patience in it, but also a change in the person behind the words, and such a good one too. Patience is for B types M, I am a typical A The message in this is definitely an A+ Waste not a second ~ Carpe' Diem |

Martie, I think after 5 years of having lost the once love of my life as far as marriage goes, I have learned a lot of patience..it has taken me this long to get my own thoughts straightened out and to know I can have a future despite the losses I have encountered during those years. Sometimes I wish I had been less patient and been further along towards my future security. Sharon, thank you...I was in a thoughtful mood this morning...could be the remnants of the flu...and besides it was too cold and windy to rake those leaves after all. I do think there is a change in me...I am most happy now when my time is occupied...mostly with the "blooming" of the youngest generation. Thank you both... M |

Maureen, I certainly know of similar thoughts. And, memories are there to stay, sometimes, aren't they? Thanks for sharing your Sunday thoughts. Hugs, Ethel |

How I love it when you write right on! Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

Ethel, my memories are always in the background of my mind...popping up sometimes more often than wished. For some reason you can't compare memories to the now. The now seems to lose out. JL, Thanks again "I" ...well sometimes I am right and sometimes I just write Always great to see you here. Thanks M Kristabell, sometimes the waiting let's the anxiety build... but sometimes we don't have any control. Thank you Dixie, so they say |
