928 A Work Void of Rhyme 12 August 2000 Morning rain and Knightly light Heroes of old times past Into the future in histories grasp For each minute passes on Nowhere is there a true escape If endurance is to be continued Death is never the ultimate Amongst an eternity endless Birth being more another step For living is an earthly desire A spirit shaped in various forms On a journey of eternal round Estates to navigate daily This acceptance of a plan Yet rejection also open Towards mortality in a morality “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few choosen.” Matthew 20: 16 KJV a poet who cares |

You are right - Death is never the ultimate when eternity awaits us. Very nice poem and it is nice to see you in different forums. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |
