with the rivers she came from the side of moss mountain her limbs were antichrist bent searching the dark ground for life I remember her eyes between the leaves a thousand perhaps but others too were closed pretending the night had sand manned them to slumber but the sun between hesitations shimmered of prose unprofessional blatant with respect for the sparrows but condescending to the winds that would provide her some spiritual with hymns of gasping whispers hissed in harmony between metal roofs and how it plays the tin, the wind even the statue women would love him _______________ daark scribnote: just a storm and a tree and a bunch of invisible stuff that I see when I wear the blind man's hat |

just a storm and a tree and a bunch of invisible stuff that I see when I wear the blind man's hat I've read you a lot, and have witnessed your incredible wearing your aware eyes, upon nature speaking to you... I've witnessed your amazement to, and the aloofness, your all emotions symbolized within nature's miraculous life...touching yours, touching ours... this poem of yours today, I think your best... your images are outstanding...which stand alone, taking each word by the hand, in testimony of the feeling your middle eye gives. no my poet friend, much more then "just a storm" you make light of your incredible emotions...and what you see...far deeper then most. Thank you |

"I remember her eyes between the leaves" ...when I was perhaps four years old, my mother left me with a sitter. I used to play under a willow tree in the yard. Silver-lime leaves nearly swept the ground, weaving lace of sunlight and shadows all around me...and the bedroom there, with it's beige lace curtains and hand crocheted bedspred seemed alive with shadows and dappled sunlight. Strangely enough, that is all I can remember of that place and time where things were sunny and muted in my childhood. The woman who cared for me while my mother worked remains faceless, but the willow tree was magic! Thank you, Daark! Your poem holds lifetimes. It's somehow stark, yet full of lovely possiblities. |

"blatant with respect for the sparrows but condescending to the winds" Just a storm and a tree and some invisible stuff, is it? And you with the blind man's hat? Even your scrib notes read like a poem. I think I suffer from poet's envy. |

If that was just a storm and a tree, well then, you make them appear interesting.... |
