I often fear the simplest routines, answering the doorbell being one. Outgoing went out when abandonment came in and the meeting face to face of, became a phobia. Many months of loneliness have taught me to push through those fears to get where I need to be. But that doorbell.. So I peek, if I can, to see if it is a stranger, not too hard to do when one has 47 windows. Yesterday I waited until the footsteps left. Opened the door...looked to my left, and then to the right. There sat a dozen red roses and a colorful Spring time "Get Well" bear. I feel lifted today, as I view them upon waking. Thank You, M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

What a pleasant surprise. I, too, know isolation although I don't feel lonely...but I always peek through the windows.....prudent, I think. ....jo |
