it is rain and not rain this endlessness of separate drops come singly their arhythmic beat almost too clear and in a key each sings unto itself unique |

Because today I received a disk, bearing some of the most singularly, arrestingly beautiful music I have heard. I have a favorite, for now. It is named Uruma -- the old name for Okinawa. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Ed...I like thinking of rain that way. If you stand under one seperate drop, you don't get as wet...right? What is the music? Sounds interesting and is there a link for it that you can add? |

This music is like a sunlit shower, but each note, each drop is its own rain, fallen from its own tiny cloud, somewhere far above. That's the closest I can come. It's from this /pip/Forum94/HTML/001764.html ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> ______________Ratleader______________ |

As soon as I heard the way Huan Yi spoke of it, I knew it would be something special.... I looked up the site http://cdbaby.com/cd/kotoworld6 and bought it on the spot. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

in a key each sings unto itself I can imagine the music... as I'm in awe of the beauty it inspired. *S* This is so lovely, my friend. |

This is magnificient, Ed. A keeper ingreedy, indeed! To the library I run! Funny thing about rain: yesterday our cows got out. I guarantee you that each drop was bucket-sized! I had to cross the 'Dry Run Creek' to get back home, as the lightning was going crazy. What I expected to be a depth of 8-10 inches, I found was up to my chest. I loved the entire experience. It just punctuated my life right now. And you know what? I fought the rapids and the closely knit rose bushes, the lightning, and some disturbances in my life, and I won (ok, well not exactly, some of the thorns still hurt!) Sorry about the ramble. I needed to clear my system. Your poem triggered it though--Ha, ha---my ramble was all your fault!!!! Love this poem. your friend, misce |

Ed, You absolutely must get the original soundtrack to "The Thin Red Line" by Hans Zimmer. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000GV6B/qid=1142641015/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/102-5575332-8033722?s=music&v=glance&n=5174 John |
