He Walked |

He walked the arid desert, he swam the raging sea. He talked of broken marriages a nameless man was he. He climbed the highest mountain, and walked the babbling brook. He sought the golden fountain where youth did take and took. His hands were large and leathered from times of toil and strife. Yearning what he treasured. A woman not his wife. And daily he did walk alone across the forest land. In search of a single stone. A diamond in his hand. |
