5169 Reaching Serenity 11 March 2006 Special was just the way it is for this was not love but in kind A spirit stretched across waters to wake an understanding reached toward her heart To want - but not have - her love denied that feeling of eyes to sea Her Bethany another place to ponder the skies a shade only in moonlight Divided in so many ways the desire one of strength Yet would age awaken the truth given reality unable to walk To want - but not have - her love for what was love in her eyes A surrender away from serenity an understanding reaching out toward her heart “I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.” Psalms 108: 3-4 KJV a poet who cares |
