Hope Springs Eternal

Penning my thoughts
For better or worse
Through high and low
All enters into verse

Along journeys of life
Writing each event
In colouring chapters
Time lovingly spent

Inspiration by sunset
Bright stars above
Heart flows in desire
In language of love

Page by page turned
Of where and when
As each path unfolds
Words flow into pen

Each new day opens
With places to see
Hope springs eternal
Whatever shall be
