Maiden scape 'neath rays of dawn where rock and heaven look upon the dancing waves which crest ~ then gone ~ with not one crease to seam nor trace forever on her timeless face. KL... Thank you for sharing both the poetry, and the inspiration. I love it when people "see" more than what is just there... and your poem compliments the face wonderfully. A couple of years back, on my first visit to Colorado [not the "drive by" of before] I visited areas that I enjoyed so much...but I let my camera "see" more than I could...and I'm glad I did. In fact, I wrote a few poems about the hidden images of various trees and rock...so I'm glad to find another poet who has that same imagination... continue to explore the world...I am anxious to see what your pen will perform from such visions! |

Thank you, Sunshine. Face Rock in Bandon has a very mystical aura about it and there is a story that is handed down through Indian Legend.
