4688 Beauty in Boots 13 December 2005 She stands still beauty to boots upon her feet Her hands clasped together to her front and side Her dress elegant yet simple in a fringe of lace upon black In a lacy hem of white mid-length as her focus meant her head looked away The mystery of this girl in photograph her heart shaded in quest of respect Those eyes of beauty her shield hidden Of such an embrace not always understood she in care of family and employment to cater A fish, an ocean and lake down Ontario way God gave a miracle to communicate with her some day “For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:” Hebrews 6: 7 KJV a poet who cares |
