in the green of a beach village we salute sunset at water’s edge Pinot Noir in our glasses to today our hostess says is this wine appropriate for sunset a cool moon rises its sole purpose to soothe me you and our hostess talk quietly soon walk arm in arm by the water I watch in dreamy wonder begin my solitary walk froth of warm water whispers secrets on my toes the secrets you’ve kept at dinner I order oysters on the half shell pink lobster and a quiet heart you order Tilapia offer a taste to our hostess the waiter offers wine what wine goes with a shared mouthful of Tilapia a cotton dressed bed ocean breeze from wide window we lie back to back you sleep quickly in a hurry to taste your dreams I lie watching the curtains drift in the breeze tying and untying the ribbons of what happened by the ocean in the green of a beach village |

what an enjoyable read I must ask for abalone... but then, it's nearly an impossibility to find it anywhere these days and see what you've done? you've dredged up a Channel Islands memory thank you! /pip/Forum94/HTML/001863.html [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (03-06-2006 09:59 PM).] |

So often, pain and beauty walk arm in arm, especially for an artist with a soul as warm and quiver-sensitive as yours. Hugs to you and George and Winnie - Owl |

I am very impressed with your writing and talent for telling a story; Not only could I sense the colors, textures, 'atmospheric pressure', and so on... but I could feel emotions welling up in me as if I were the character... Wow! misc'e |
