Somewhere In A July

On a warm silky night
somewhere in a July,
I wondered why you would
want to kiss a man like me;
not rich, not famous,
nor overly handsome.
No particular reasons why,
I would catch such a
lovely womans eye, and you
would pull me close to you,
on a warm silky night
somewhere in a July.

Captures beautifully the wondrous feeling of a first kiss, or even the hundredth...what words to tell their meaning. Well done!
