Mourning Autumn morning, still I mourn and the earth cries with me. From branches leaves are torn, vanishing into wind’s debris. Lost amidst the morning haze until nothing left to see, leaves mourn today like the tears that fall from me. Tragically ripping from my eyes sinking into the puddle of grief, tears vanish as I cry to be with each stagnant leaf. Hope can die in an instant |

My how sad this is... and what a tragic picture you have drawn. I hope that this is not too autobiographical You write with a poignance that makes your readers care. Well done. Caroline He who wants a rose must respect the thorn. |

Thank you! And no, not autobiograhphy or anything. When I write, I kind of sit outside my emotions and create new emotions through my poetry. http://www.publishedauthors.net/erikastaples/index.html http://www.publishedauthors.net/spiralsofnature/index.html |
