It Was Written Into The First Star Birth
4 August 2001

You make my sky tremble
on the lip prints of a song ...
a wind song of forest whispers
and beguiling waters
that tell tales of long ago
and of the slow æons
of tear drop secrets
that formed and grew
in moss and fern and lichen
and painted you and me
in primordial destiny.

Thank you Kate, Caroline and Earth Angel for your very kind words.

Earth Angel, like the rest of us, I am still sending continuous prayers, thoughts and healing wishes to return you to the best of health.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read my poem.  May rest and heal be your watchwords.  I realise that it will be some time before you are out of the woods, but I am looking forward to hearing that you are back in the sunlight with us.

I am glad that you are getting better, Earth Angel.  God always listens, doesn't He?  The prayers for your recovery will continue long after you have regained complete health and have sustained it for a long while.

I am not sure whether my reply went in before I ran out of airtime and had to recharge my phone, so forgive me if the gist of this is in twice.  My replies don't always show immediately, so I would rather get my reply in twice than not at all.

I wish I had written this poem....right now, today, wish I had written it. That's all there is to say.

This is wonderful praise from such a talented and sensitive writer.  However, at least you can borrow it to read and enjoy.  Thank you so very much, Ed.

Ohhh!  You have exquisitely painted the trappings of the heart, primordial, indeed!  How many of us can relate to history of lifetimes?  I don't know, but you capture that feeling of loving through eternity...  gorgeous!

Thank you Steven, and how safe and warm I feel on that perch!

Thank you Klassy Lassy.  Unfortunately (. . . well fortunately, I suppose, in retrospect), his love dried up, although it was a little more complicated and a lot better and a lot worse than that.

It's a beautiful poem Diana. I have to agree with Ed... there are some poems you just wish were yours. This is one of those.
