Softly, rippling under twilight's stars,
a Dobro strums, and Spanish guitars
pluck from evening love's old sweet song
where fingertips touch,

and indigo throngs
a cool white moon as she dances by,
her slippers silver in a satin sky.
She carries a torch of emerald fire
and glides through the deepening blue.
As she kindles my heart, a child hums,
and, suddenly...

                   I'm thinking of you.

Owl, it sets me dreaming and remembering, too.  This write came was inspired by a summer's evening concert.  It holds some tender memories for me.

Jo and Caroline,  Very kind words...thank you.  I'm happy to share.

Hugs,
