 The Tunnel ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ The tunnel is dark and arduous, ~It’s bleak and narrow and long. But the Light glimmering at the end, Keeps me hopeful and strong. Life’s not meant to be easy, ~There are challenges at every turn. By doing our best and keeping the faith, ~It’s a school where we live and learn. My lessons ~ there have been many! But each one comes with a gift. As I grow, I gain in wisdom, And rise with each consciousness shift. The tunnel is dark and arduous, ~It’s bleak and narrow and long. But the Light glimmering at the end, Keeps me hopeful and strong. “We are born of star dust, And to the stars we shall one day return.” ~ Linda L. Dowd |
