The way you are, my friend.

You live in a crystal ball
When the world tries to get in
The glass breaks and you fall

You land on those shards
And then everything hurts
Because you work so hard

Every reflection reminds
What you once had
And now what you cant find

And so you leave
You run from everything
Because you no longer believe

In the blue skies
In your eyes
