HOPES AND DREAMS You know, there are hopes and dreams That come and go our whole life through Some of them may seem impossible And sometimes some of them come true. Some people want some special things They think they can’t live without And others wish for simples things Who know what life really is about. There are coins tossed in wishing wells And wishes made on a shooting star Those who think the end of the rainbow Is where all those riches really are. All those little things that happen That may seem such a small amount Will sometimes end up something That turn into those which really count. Some dreams might make life better And some may taunt you to the end But without something to wish for There’s no sense travlin’ ‘round that bend. Del "Abe" Jones |
