4923 When the Lights Go Down 16 January 2006 She sung of Fireflies all in faith Her belief in fairy tales and a Kiss of grace Of her wanting to Breathe like the beautiful soul she was Then could it be Like we never loved at all For what was love to Cry how could you just walk on by This dealing with the pain forgetful to feelings you have This magic and passion lost in a kiss Her country sound a soul away her being close in whisper heard To cry without the gloss of beauty in this darkness fragmented to life “for Faith Hill” One of the biggest female country stars of the 1990s, Faith Hill, born Audrey Faith Perry on 21 September 1967, in Jackson, Missouri, and grew up in the nearby small town of Star. She was singing as young as age of 3 and first performed publicly at a 4-H luncheon when she was 7 years old. Faith Hill released her debut album, Take Me as I Am, in late 1993. Touring with Tim McGraw in 1996, Faith Hill married McGraw in October that year. The single "This Kiss" topped the country charts for 3 weeks, to also became her first pop hit, climbing to number seven in the pop charts. Faith Hill has recorded and released several albums, EP’s and singles, including: This Kiss (1998), Breathe (2000), The Way You Love Me (2000), Cry (2002), Like We Never Loved At All (2005) and Fireflies (2005). a poet who cares |

I love Faith Hill's music. She's coming to my city (well, close enough)!! I hope I can see her! Very nice tribute to a talented artist!! ~sky I hope someday you get the chance to live like you were dying.... |
