GiNormous secret longings festoons like a high diving flame where dark dominion becomes a now distant companion I knew nothing about what held me then but took another look last night I dreamed Hemingway a close read with edifying force combing confidential tears across the universe powerfully engaging sea gardens grinning luck at dawn only this time, with broad shoulders glimmering a vast embrace giving an open eye account while dreaming, I knew some how my house was growing past dividing lines into language at best its not easy Yet it is the human face of time pointing through me with rich melody on a spectacular clear night I caught sight of a woman murmuring words, like a kitten smiling, into the ears of expression with last names of white firmament old fashioned dial up earth sitting behind a bar in some brightly lite cyprus olive grove starting to download red wine poems sounding off like Buddha positions ohmmmmm I remember thinking “I’d really like to have a double” pregnant brilliant green eyes karmic minds whispering of blue waters marvelously strange this vast sea handing me an envelope with a special card which read “Unstoppable business, this lagoon” I felt the "handshake of afterlife" & the world behind my soul [This message has been edited by LeeJ (02-23-2006 11:30 AM).] |
